Property Description
The Woodcock Woods project will protect 33 acres across two parcels of prime habitat for the federally endangered bunched arrowhead. The properties will become a new Heritage Preserve owned and managed by SCDNR for the protection of the plants and their habitat. Protecting the plants' habitat and hydrology are important for long term sustainability goals held by state and federal biologists.
