Property Description
Dawn Plantation is located in the ACE Basin Focus Area. It was established in 1791 on the banks of the Ashepoo River as a working plantation, with rice production being one of its primary crops. The property has approximately 2.5 miles of direct Ashepoo River frontage with over 200 acres of various type wetland habitats. The upland areas primarily consist of stands of mixed pine/hardwoods, open fields, planted longleaf and loblolly pine stands, agricultural fields and wildlife food plots.
