French Quarter Creek is located on US Highway 41 in Huger, SC, within the Cooper River watershed and within the proclamation boundary of the Francis Marion National Forest. This property contains forested wetlands, which function to improve water quality by providing for nutrient uptake and sediment deposition from runoff draining from upstream lands, and also provides many wildlife habitat components. French Quarter Creek is located in close proximity to other protected properties.
