Property Description

The Buckfield property buffers over two miles along I-95 and shares a two-and-a-half-mile border along the Slater-Buckfield DNR Heritage Trust Preserve and Wildlife Management Area.  The property includes a tributary of the Tulifinny River, helps improve water quality in the Tulifinny and Pocotaligo Rivers, and links the ACE Basin protection effort to the Port Royal Sound Watershed and begins to form the larger, much needed greenbelt linking the ACE Basin and the Savannah River.
