Blackwell Farm

Property Description
Blackwell Farm

Blackwell Farm, owned and managed by the Blackwell Family since 1999, is nestled in the bucolic countryside of northern Greenville County. Its meadows are fringed with mixed hardwood and pine forests rich with diverse wildlife and plant species, including passerine birds, black bear, wild turkey, white-tailed deer, small mammals, reptiles and amphibians. Migratory waterfowl enjoy foraging and lolling on the one-acre spring-fed freshwater pond, and McKinney Creek, a tributary of the Tyger River, forms the southern boundary of the farm.  The project will preserve the native wildlife habitat, rural character, and agricultural economy in rapidly developing northern Greenville County.
