Property Description
The Berkeley Orchard Project secures a foothold in a highly dense and rapidly developing City of Clemson. The property will serve as the hub for the Green Crescent Trail, a multi-modal network of pathways with connection points to surrounding municipalities, Clemson University, and both the North and South Sections of the Clemson Experimental Forest. Having this hub will provide an important connection point for the trail as well as provide some parking for users who aren’t residents of the City of Clemson. The City of Clemson plans to create an orchard consisting of native fruiting trees, pollinators, and intentional meadows to promote ecological diversity and wildlife habitat.
