Property Description

Patriots Plantation II contains 1,867.5 acres including 515 acres of forested lands, 39.5 acres of cleared/open lands, and 1,313 acres of wetlands. This property also has 1.2 miles of frontage on the Great Pee Dee River and 3.4 miles of frontage on Clarks Creek. Patriots Plantation was selected to protect freshwater wetland habitat on the South Carolina Coastal Plain. This property's wetland habitat plays an important role for many species of migratory waterfowl by providing some of the most extensive, intact wetlands in the southeastern United States.
