Fairfield (McCrady) Tract

Property Description

The McCrady/Fairfield Tract is managed for forestryFairfield and wildlife near the US Sumter National Forest with a diversity of habitats and forest areas including loblolly pine stands and hardwood ravine areas. Healthy populations of all major game species in SC, including white-tailed deer and wild turkey. This tract is located above the fall line in the lower Piedmont region and rolling hills of Fairfield County which support listed landscapes such as the cove / ravine oak-hickory forest ecosystems and such areas support special communities of flora and fauna. This property offers public viewing opportunities by virtue of having road frontage alone Dave Jenkins Road which adds significantly to the scenic values enjoyed by the public enjoying recreational activities along the road.
