Property DescriptionYem

The Yem Tract is a magnificent piece of undeveloped property transversed by braided streams at the headwaters of the Coosawhatchie River in Hampton County. The property is current used for hunting and timber activities. It is prominently visible by the public from Gray's Highway, having approximately 3,900 feet of scenic frontage, as well as Pocotaligo Road, having about 6,500 feet of scenic frontage. This tract contains a diversity of relatively natural habitats including variously aged planted pine stands, mixed upland forest, forested wetlands, and scrub-shrub bottomland, all of which can support a variety of floral and faunal species. This property also presents an opportunity to contribute to the protection of the downstream water quality for the benefit of the public.
