Property Description

Located in the ACE Basin, this large tract adjoins Bear Island Refuge WMA. The tract sits next to the Ashepoo River and is the location of Snuggedy Swamp. There is a historic old railroad bed on the tract and geologic peat deposits. The majority of the 1,853 acres is wetlands, but it has a small amount of highlands.
