Bailey Mill is a magnificent piece of relatively undeveloped property in Jasper County. The property is currently used for hunting, timber and agricultural activities. It is prominently visible by the public from Bailey Mill Road, having approximately 1,900 feet of scenic road frontage. Bailey Mill lies within the more than 2 millions acres of the South Lowcountry (SoLo) Focus Area featuring diverse ecosystems and a wealth of wildlife. This property contains a diversity of relatively natural habitats including upland pine forest and forested and un-forested wetlands in various stages of succession, and open fields, all of which can support a variety of floral and faunal species. Baily Mill lies within Calfpen Bay and flows into the Great Swamps. It is within the headwaters of the New River and runs into the Port Royal Sound.
