The Pecan Alley Farms Tracts are managed for wildlife, agriculture and forestry just outside of the 315,000 acre COWASEE Basin Focus Area, but within the "waterfowl corridor" of Lake Marion. The mixed hardwood/pine low areas and duck impoundments are very attractive to a variety of waterfowl species. These tracts are located north of Lake Marion and near the Hickory Top WMA. Small groups are allowed for bird counts and educational opportunities for scientific, archeological, and biological research as well as habitat managements. Landowners will also host youth waterfowl hunts in connection with the SCWA, a nearby landowner and conservation easement holder.
A map for the Pecan Alley Farms Tracts has been provided in Google Map format.
