Property Description

The Culler family tracts are managed for agriculture, silviculture and wildlife on the North Fork Edisto River near Highway 178. A diversity of habitats and forest areas occur here, including loblolly and longleaf pine stands, mixed pine-hardwoods, riverine hardwoods and a 50 acre pond all of which support healthy populations of a variety of animal species. This property has floodplain bottomland hardwoods and oxbow lakes. Millwood Farms LLP drains to Limestone Creek, which has an old mill site and dam forming the 50 acre pond. The spillway drains back into Limestone Creek which then flows into the North Fork Edisto River. The fields have been terraced and the property has a vegetative buffer along the creek, pond, and river.
