Property Description
The Good Hope Landing Tract ensures that the functions and values of the mature floodplain continue to provide habitat, flood control, water quality protection, and public access benefits. The property will be incorporated into the Edisto River Wildlife Management Area (WMA), which is currently 1,375 acres and is a portion of a larger Forest Legacy easement that surrounds it (5,752 acres total including the WMA). The property sits adjacent to Good Hope Landing, one of the most used access points on the Edisto River Canoe and Kayak Trail.
