Property Description

The Battle of Handing Rock property, located in Heath Spring, was a portion of the battlefield for the August 6, 1780, Battle of Hanging Rock. This significant Revolutionary War battle was the first in a series of battles as American Patriots attempted to threaten British strongholds in the upcounty of the state.
