Preserving South Carolina’s
Irreplaceable Landscapes

The South Carolina Conservation Bank improves the quality of life in South Carolina by conserving significant forest lands, farmlands, wetlands, historical properties, archaeological sites, and urban parks. We also contribute to South Carolina’s economy by encouraging conservation investments and supporting the follow-on spending they bring.

About the Conservation Bank

The South Carolina Conservation Bank works with government agencies, land trusts, and other entities to conserve and protect South Carolina’s outstanding natural resource areas, forest lands, farmlands, historical and archaeological sites, and urban parks.

Our land conservation efforts also generate investment in rural and urban communities and local and state businesses—all of which significantly improve South Carolina citizens‘ quality of life. Since our founding, we’ve generated millions of dollars from sources outside the state—money that is spent in South Carolina daily.
